Shotwell Enters South American Supply Agreement

(MIDLAND, TEXAS – April 19, 2022) – Shotwell Hydrogenics, a Midland, Texas-based specialty chemical manufacturer, has inked a multi-year supply agreement for Production Enhancement chemicals with a major South American oilfield services company. The agreement marks the first foray into the South America market for Shotwell.

Shotwell Expands Executive Team

(MIDLAND, TEXAS – September 24, 2021) – Shotwell Hydrogenics, a leading chemical manufacturer, has appointed Len Wall to the role of Director of Commercial Operations. Wall brings more than 20 years of experience in the chemicals industry to the role, where he will oversee the company’s commercial operations. Further adding to the team, Shotwell onboarded Chris Acosta as regional sales manager responsible for business development in the Permian Basin.

Shotwell Releases New, More Effective H2S Scavenger

(MIDLAND, TEXAS – April 8, 2021) – Shotwell Hydrogenics has launched a patent-pending hydrogen sulfide scavenger that makes the most of MEA triazine, extends operational life, and is less likely to form problematic solids. The product is powered by NRGMax®, a proprietary platform technology that makes active chemical ingredients perform better.

Shotwell Appoints New Board Member

(MIDLAND, TEXAS – December 2, 2020) – Shotwell Hydrogenics has added David Lonsdale to their board of managers. Lonsdale has accepted the appointment to provide strategic counsel to the Midland, Texas-based chemical manufacturer, which produces specialty chemicals for the energy, agriculture, and HI&I markets.

Chemical Manufacturer Elevates New President

(MIDLAND, TEXAS – October 1, 2020) – Shotwell Hydrogenics, a leading chemical manufacturer, has appointed Russell Brown to the role of President. He will provide strategic guidance and day-to-day leadership for the Midland-based company effective October 1, 2020. Brown brings 25-years of chemical manufacturing experience to the role and previously served as the company’s vice president of business development.

Midland Manufacturer Launches Hand Sanitizer Production

(MIDLAND, TEXAS – March 27, 2020) – As a nationwide shortage of hand sanitizer continues to daunt the country, chemical manufacturer Shotwell Hydrogenics, is answering the call by pivoting production to the anti-microbial. The Midland-based facility will produce both a 70% (v/v) isopropyl alcohol formulation as well as a 70% (v/v) ethyl alcohol formulation. Manufacturing begins next week and will supply liquid hand sanitizer on a commercial scale to distributors.
